Sara Jackson

About

Sara is a Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people understand their pain, build confidence in their movement, and achieve the goals that matter to them.

She graduated from Northumbria University in 2024, having previously completed an Integrated Master’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow. Her academic background has given her a particular interest in complex musculoskeletal conditions as well as chronic pain, with a focus on helping patients understand their symptoms and develop practical, effective strategies to move forward.

Sara has experience working within the NHS as both a musculoskeletal physiotherapist as well as a hand therapist, also working in private practice in a gym focus environment. She takes a patient-centred approach to treatment, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where you can openly discuss your symptoms, goals, worries and concerns.

She is passionate about helping patients get the most out of their rehabilitation and believes that building strength, confidence, and understanding can play an important role in long-term recovery. Sara will work with you to develop a rehabilitation plan that is tailored to your individual needs and fits into your lifestyle.

Outside of physiotherapy, Sara is a keen rock climber and loves spending time outdoors. She is also a regular gym-goer and is a big advocate for the benefits of strength training—so if you’re interested in getting stronger, there’s a good chance you’ll have plenty to talk about!
